Going into this process as a first time home buyer is super stressful and scary but honestly we got so lucky to find Doris and have her help us on our home buying journey. Doris was super detail oriented, and completely transparent about the entire process. Being new to the process we expected everyone to be cutthroat and trying to get one over on us in some capacity but Doris was the complete opposite. She was so observant, always asked the right questions and fought for us throughout the entire process, we could really tell that she cared and was always looking out for our best interest. I was referred to Doris by someone who does other services for our family. This was a difficult situation as my grandmother had passed away and we were having to make the painful decision to sell her house where she lived since 1952. It was quite emotional, but Doris has made the process so much easier. She did an excellent job with open houses and staging it and went over consistently even before we had an active offer just to check on the property just to ensure everything was working properly and my grandparents' house was safe and secure. She even reminded us to check the oil supply in the tank since the house was unoccupied to ensure there was enough heat and oil to prevent any pipe damage. She was fantastic at setting a fair price and going back and forth between our attorney and the buyers' attorney with negotiations and kept us informed of everything in the entire process. There was another obstacle with an open permit which was outstanding for a long time, and she assisted us with resolving this and was able to get an expeditor who made some recommendations. I truly appreciate her help and would never been able to get through this without her determination, expertise, and professionalism! If I know of anyone looking to buy or sell, I would happily recommend Doris Piazza without hesitation!
